The Aleu Residence project in Barcelona is conceived as the development of a contemporary residential environment, designed to meet the needs of students within a dynamic urban context.
The project focuses on the comprehensive furniture outfitting of bedrooms and common areas, approaching the design from a global perspective where functionality, durability, and spatial clarity are integrated into a single system.
The rooms are configured as compact and efficient units, where custom-made furniture precisely organizes the rest, study, and storage areas. The layout of the various elements optimizes the available space, facilitating intuitive and orderly daily use.
The design relies on a combination of resistant materials with finishes in neutral tones and wood, creating a balanced and welcoming atmosphere suitable for intensive use. The integration of practical solutions, such as desks, wardrobes, and shelving, addresses functional needs without visually overloading the space.
In parallel, the common areas are conceived as spaces for social interaction and coexistence, where the furniture helps define areas for relaxation, study, and meeting. The open organization and flexibility of use allow these spaces to adapt to different dynamics, fostering interaction between users.
The entire project was developed under criteria of durability and maintenance, which are fundamental for this type of facility, ensuring a long service life without compromising a refined and coherent aesthetic.
The result is a functional and well-structured residence, where the furniture acts as a key element in organizing the space and enhancing the user experience, adapting to the current demands of the university environment.
